Frequently Asked Questions

What areas do you service?

We are based in Blue Ridge, Georgia, and serve the surrounding areas. For events with a large enough guest count, we’ll travel up to two hours from our location. No matter where we go, you can expect the same level of excellence and attention to detail.

How far in advance should we book?

As the region’s premier private chef and refined catering service, our calendar fills quickly—especially for holidays and wedding season. We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date.

Can we adjust guest counts after booking?

Yes. You may adjust your guest count and other details up to seven days before your event, when final payment is due.

What is your cancellation policy?

All deposits are non-refundable but may be applied to a future date if you need to reschedule. Cancellations within seven days of the event may result in forfeiture of your payment, as ingredients are often ordered and staffing arranged by that time.

What does the "Service Charge" Cover?

The service charge is added to any party that has 12 or more guests. When guest counts rise, there is a substantial increase in preparations time, menu planning, offsite and onsite logistics, and more.

This charge is not a gratuity for your chef or team.

Are gratuities ever included?

Gratuity is not included in your invoice unless specifically requested. While never required, it is always appreciated. Most clients tip in a similar way they would at a fine dining restaurant. Your chef will provide a thank-you card with a QR code for digital tipping, or you are welcome to tip in cash if preferred.

What is included in my dining experience?

We provide everything needed to deliver a five-star dining experience at your location. This includes all ingredients, cooking equipment, plateware, polished flatware, glass water goblets, linen napkins with decorative rings, and charger plates.

When do we see a menu?

After booking, you'll complete a detailed culinary preference questionnaire. Your chef will use your responses to create a specifically tailored, one-of-a-kind menu for your event. Menus are typically sent the week prior to your event date to ensure ingredient availability, seasonal alignment, and the highest level of customization.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies?

Yes. We can accommodate a wide range of dietary needs, including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, and allergy-sensitive menus. Please include any dietary requirements in your questionnaire so we can plan accordingly and ensure every guest is cared for.

How are the proteins prepared?

Our proteins are cooked to culinary industry standards for temperature and texture to ensure the best possible dining experience. We prepare:

  • Beef – medium-rare

  • Seafood – medium

  • Pork – medium-well

If you have different preferences, please let us know in advance—we’re happy to customize preparation to your taste.

When will my chef/team arrive?

For more intimate events, we typically arrive approximately one hour before your requested start time to begin setup and preparation. For events with 50 or more guests, we’ll coordinate more closely with you in advance to ensure we have the appropriate lead time and staffing to execute your event seamlessly.

Do you offer tastings prior to booking?

Yes, we do. You’re welcome to book a private chef experience featuring the same number of courses and a menu similar to what you're considering for your wedding. If you choose to book your wedding with us afterward, the full cost of that private chef experience will be applied as a credit toward your final wedding invoice.

What is the concierge service?

Our concierge service allows you to send a custom shopping list for your stay. We’ll purchase, deliver, and organize everything before you arrive. If you realize you need anything else on the day of your dining experience, simply email us—we’ll make sure your chef brings those additional items when they arrive. A separate invoice for all purchased supplies will be provided after your dining experience.

Bartender vs. Beverage Service

Bartender Service

  • Includes a professional bartender who will mix and serve cocktails using the alcohol you provide.

  • Perfect for events where guests enjoy hand-crafted drinks; includes up to two specialty cocktail recipes.

  • Includes glassware rental, with several different bar glass styles available to suit your event.

Beverage Service

  • Designed to complement events where you’ve already hired an outside bartender and they require support staff, or want special attention given to your event's beverages such as wine pouring, non alcoholic beverages, or other beverages supplied to our team. Our team helps keep guests refreshed by circulating the room and serving wine, bottled beverages, and non-alcoholic options—so guests aren’t stuck waiting in long lines at the bar or can avoid leaving the table during service to refill wine or other beverages aside from the water included.

  • Ensures a seamless and elevated experience, especially for larger groups.

  • Includes glassware rental, with multiple bar glass options available.
