Frequently Asked Questions

What's included in my Dining Experience?

We bring absolutely everything needed to prepare and serve a 5 star gourmet meal right at your location. That means that every dining experience includes the following: All food needed, all pots and pans needed to cook with, plateware, flatware, glass water goblets, linen napkins, decorative napkin rings and decorative charger plates.

What does the "Service Charge" Cover?

The service charge is added to any party that has 8 or more guests. When guest counts rise, there is a substantial increase in preparations time, menu planning, offsite and onsite logistics, and more.

The service charge also covers any additional staff that ,may be required for larger groups. We do not line item additional service attendants.

This charge is not a gratuity for your chef or team.

What areas do you service?

While our base kitchen is located in Blue Ridge GA, we also service the surrounding areas and will travel up to 2 hours from our location given the party size is large enough. Regardless of your distance, you will always receive the same top tier service and incredible dining experience.

Can we adjust guest counts after booking?

Absolutely! You can change most details, including guest count, up to seven days prior to your event date when the final payment is requested.

How far in advance should we book?

We suggest booking as soon as possible. Because we are the leading refined caterer and private chef service in the area, we tend to book up very quickly. We especially suggest booking ASAP with larger parties such as weddings, reunions, etc as we only have a limited amount of  chefs and want to make sure you have our full attention for your big event.

What if we have to cancel?

While deposits are non refundable, we can still forward that payment to another date should you decide to rebook. If you have to cancel inside the 7 days, there will likely be a total loss on your event as we will already have materials collected, staff allocated, and food products purchased.

What does the concierge charge include?

Our concierge service is a real game changer, especially for larger groups! This service allows you to send us a detailed list of supplies you would like for your stay. We will shop these items as well as deliver them, unload and organize everything prior to your arrival. This accommodation also allows you to contact your chef on the day of your event should you need anything further. We will then send a final invoice for the cost of supplies.

What does the standard "Bartender" include?

The base bartender service includes a dedicated service attendant that will make sure to keep drinks flowing throughout the event. This service does not include any alcohol, but if you have a special cocktail or two you would like to serve, we will be pleased to do so!

We do offer more involved bartending services for larger groups such as Christmas parties or weddings. These services are priced individually and can include or not include alcohol in the pricing.

Is Gratuity ever included?

Gratuity is never included on the invoice unless specifically requested from our client.

While gratuities are never required, they are incredibly appreciated by your chef and team!

If you are wondering how much to tip, it is typically the same percentages as you would at a restaurant. Your chef will absolutely love a cash tip, but will also have a Thank You card to present at the end of your event that has a QR code to leave a tip, should you decide to go that route.

When do we see a menu?

We do not have a list of set menus, and for good reason! We make sure that every menu is made specifically for each client.

Once your reservation is made, we will send a culinary preference questionnaire that will be forwarded to our lead chef once completed. We will send a menu draft immediately if your event is  close, but we may wait to send a menu if the event date is far out to insure we will have the products needed for your meal.

You will not have any menus created or presented prior to your reservation being made.
